BP Transfer Ticket
If you do not want to pay for two seperate transport rides (350 HUF each ride/ticket), you can buy a Transfer Ticket (530 HUF) valid for two rides between metro trains, buses, trams and so on.
Your first trip is valid for 100 minutes and your second trip (the transfer) is valid for 80 minutes, but your transfer must be taken within the first 100 minutes. See the BKK Transport T&Cs.

Although Vajdahunyad Castle is still a castle, originally built from wood (1896) and later rebuilt with brick (1904-1908), these days it is host venue for the 'Museum of Hungarian Agriculture' (E-mail - Website - Fax: 06 1 363 2711 - Tel: 06 1 422 0765). Vajdahunyad Castle also holds various festivals and events throughout the year.

The DIRECTIONS
You can get to Vajdahunyad Castle in a variety of ways. You can take a 40 minute walk or 20 minute cycle from Andrassy Út and head towards City Park (and onto the castle), travel from Deák Ferenc Tér in the city centre or takie Metro M1 to the station called Széchenyi Fürdő (and onto the castle).
- Metro M1 - Get off at the metro station called Széchenyi Fürdő.
- Trolley Bus #72 - You could leave from outside the Nyugati Pályaudvar metro station and get off at the metro station (bus stop) called Széchenyi Fürdő.
- Trolley Buses #75 and #79 - Get off at bus stop Hősök Tere (Heroes Square).
- Buses #20E, #30, #30A, #105 and #230 - Get off at bus stop Hősök Tere (Heroes Square).
